JBSA-Fort Sam Houston Open House takes place April 22

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas  –  The Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston Open House will be held from noon until 9:30 p.m., April 22, 2023.

The day will kick off with an opening ceremony at noon, followed by museum tours, military demonstrations and exhibits, local vendors, a wide variety of activities for families, and much more.

During the event, there will also be several musical acts, including the 323rd Army Band “Fort Sam’s Own,” U.S. Air Force’s Band of the West, veteran singer-songwriter Joey Anderson, and country-blues-rocker Frankie Ballard.

The event will be free and open to the public.
